TRAINING WORKSHOPS on STN Online Searching
Since November 1995, PIPAC has been the training center for STN (The
Scientific and Technical Information Network), an online access to the
scientific databases jointly operated by the Chemical Abstracts Services
(CAS) in North America, Fachinformationdzentrum (FIZ) Karlsruhe in Europe
and Japan Science and Technology Corporation (JST) in Japan.
PIPAC offers one-day STN training workshops. STN offers access to scientific
and technical databases from leading producers worldwide and advanced
system features for convenient and precise searching of chemical substances,
procedures, patents, health and safety information or any scientific data.
