SUMMARY:Material Science for High School Teachers
DESCRIPTION:The MSE Seminar is a three-day seminar which deals with the foundations of Material Science and Engineering. Coverage includes basic concepts and principles of MSE and some laboratory demos which demonstrate some fundamental concepts. Case studies will be included to illustrate the relevance and significance of MSE. \nRequisite Competencies: The MSE seminar participants must currently be SHS faculty members in the STEM track who are involved in advising of SHS research projects. Background in Chemistry and Elementary Physics is required.
