SUMMARY:Good Laboratory Practice
DESCRIPTION:The Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) seminar is a one day seminar which comprises a series of lectures on a system of management controls for (non-clinical) research laboratories and organizations. Adherence to GLP principles ensures uniformity\, reliability\, reproducibility and integrity of chemical tests and methods. Knowledge of GLP principles is indispensable for providing confidence in scientific studies conducted at laboratories where it is strictly enforced. \nRequisite Competencies: Participants must be currently affiliated with a laboratory or an institution or business with a laboratory. An academic background on the field of hard and life sciences would be advantageous but not required. \nTraining Fee: PHP 4480.00 (VAT-inclusive)\nCPD Units: 6\nRegister on or before 21 March 2020 to avail the 10% Early Bird Discount \nClick here to register »

SUMMARY:Control Charting
DESCRIPTION:The Control Charting seminar is a one day seminar which deals with the use of a control chart as a management tool for diagnosis and operations of laboratories. A control chart is a visual representation of confidence intervals for a Gaussian distribution; it warns us when a property being assessed is straying too far from the intended target value. Control Charting also could display the precision of replicate analyses performed. \nRequisite Competencies: Control Charting participants must be knowledgeable of some statistics and statistical methods of analysis. \nTraining Fee: PHP 4480.00 (VAT-inclusive)\nCPD Units: 6\nRegister on or before 21 March 2020 to avail the 10% Early Bird Discount \nClick here to register »

SUMMARY:Chemical Risks and Hazard Assessment\, GHS and Waste Management
DESCRIPTION:The Chemical Risks and Hazard\, GHS and Waste Management seminar is a two day seminar which deals with the basic techniques in risk assessment\, proper chemical inventory\, proper chemical labeling and storage\, and risk control. All of which includes hands-on training. Coverage includes introduction to the REACH regulations\, CLP process\, hazard identification\, GHS Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) essentials\, control banding nanomaterials\, GHS process\, interpreting the contents of the Material Safety Daa Sheet (MSDS)\, creating an inventory system for chemicals\, using the GHS for chemical and wastes labelling\, and proper storage of chemicals based on the hazards and risks brought by the chemical.. \nRequisite Competencies: The participants should have a familiarity with the parts of the Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)\, and the symbols used in the GHS. They should have access to a laboratory either in an industrial or academic setting. They must have adequate exposure to the chemicals used in the lab\, the storage protocols implemented in their laboratories. \nTraining Fee: PHP 8400.00 (VAT-inclusive)\nCPD Units: 12\nRegister on or before 06 April 2020 to avail the 10% Early Bird Discount \nClick here to register »
