SUMMARY:General Method Validation (17 & 24 May 2025)
DESCRIPTION:Mode of Conduct: Online \nDescription: The demonstration of fitness of an analytical method to answer a given problem is an important task that a laboratory must undertake before adapting it for routine use. Furthermore\, every user of a validated method should be aware of the its performance characteristics before doing the analytical work. \nLearning Objectives: This seminar workshop aims to give an overview of the method validation process and an in-depth view of the different method performance characteristics to be evaluated. Participants will work with actual datasets\, calculate figures of merit using Microsoft Excel™\, and apply these in an actual practical work. The participants will be asked to bring their own laptop for the workshop. \nTraining Fee: PHP 5\,376.00 (VAT-inclusive)\nCPD Units: 12\nRegister on or before 10 May 2025 to avail the 5% Early Bird Discount \nClick here to register »

SUMMARY:Method Validation in Spectroscopy and Spectrometry (31 May 2025)
DESCRIPTION:Mode of Conduct: Online \nDescription: This one-day seminar workshop is part of the PIPAC Seminar Series on Method Validation. Before methods are used in chemical analyses\, it is essential to demonstrate their fitness-for-purpose through validation studies. In method validation\, the different performance characteristics of the method are determined through a series of well-planned steps and the results of which are compared to the pre-determined analytical requirements. Many of the modern analytical methods used in routine testing are based on spectrophotometric methods. The instrumental techniques under this method cluster include UV-Visible\, Atomic Absorption\, Optical Emission\, and Molecular Fluorescence Spectrophotometry. \nLearning Objectives: This workshop will focus on the validation of abovementioned spectrophotometric techniques. There will be an in-depth discussion on planning and execution of the different tests to determine the instrumental and method performance characteristics. The different ways of data processing and the interpretation of the results will also be explored. \nTraining Fee: PHP 2\,688.00 (VAT-inclusive)\nCPD Units: 6\nRegister on or before 24 May 2025 to avail the 5% Early Bird Discount \nClick here to register »
